Pre-Christmas Dinner @ Ma Maison - Greenbelt 3

So, me, Kate and Qhueen decided we wanted to have a Pre-Christmas dinner and they asked me where to go. I might have not mentioned it but since my mom and I ate at Ma Maison, it has been one of my favorite dining spots in Greenbelt 3. One reason is because of the price. Price ranges from 250Php-700Php per meal. Second is because the place is so cozy. Third is because the food is just AWESOME. So, I decided to bring the girls there! Loved the food and the ambience as it was not too crowded and just right for people who wanted to go to a place where you can dine and talk. It was my first time to try the Mixed Fruit White Chocolate Tart and I can say it was very delicious but my favorite would remain the green tea brazo de mercedez. I will surely come back for more! <3

Tokyo Cafe

Last Sunday, I decided to treat Mom for dinner at Tokyo Cafe. I don't know but for some reason, taking her out is one of my greatest fulfillment in life. hahaha. I just remember how she would make an effort eevry weekend to go to Bulacan and take us out at least before she goes back to work in Manila. After my dad passed away, me and my sister had nobodyelse but our Mom to depend on. She's the epitome of strong. And since that time, I told myself that I will become a successful woman so she can be proud of me, after all the hardships she's been through to bring us up.

Feeling Great!

Happy Weekend!

So, yesterday, I felt kind of bad since someone told me he thinks I have a very round belly. So, I decided to do some happy stuff and shop. Met with my bestfriend instead of going out on a date. And well, I decided to check out somne dresses and this is one of the ones I found quite fascinating. I was surprised at how it fitted me. Halter-style and well, I was also surprised that my arms aren't THAT huge anymore which is a good thing. Seems weight-lifting is kind of working already. LOL. Anyway, as I mentioned in the past, I don't intend to be thin. I intend to be healthy and well, be confident about myself. I will continue to workout and eat right until I get the shape I want. :)

Stress - Eating (Just sharing)

I think you guys have heard about stress-eating. Well, to be honest, this is one of the reasons why my waistline of 24 inches reached it's unbelievable size of 30 inches. Yup, you got it right. I gained so much weight 2 years ago because of what we so called " Stress-Eating ".

I have many source of stress around that time. Night shift work, School and Relationship. When I feelt sad, the tendency is I eat. Most of the time, I went for the "happy food" --> sweet stuff. Not until I have seen myself in the pictures that I realized I gained so much weight. It was difficult because I used to do modelling and I felt bad about myself. I felt insecure and scared of what people who knew me before would say about me now.

After gym and trying to control my stress-eating, I am proud to say that now, my waistline is at 26 inches. Maybe not as small as it was before but hey, 26 in is a good one for my height! Also, I started the habit of jogging instead of sitting infront of the tv and eating junkfoods when I'm stressed. Believe me, jogging is a great and enjoyable way to lose weight and excess body fats. Now, when I feel stressed, I put on my mp3 player ( sorry, I am so old school ) and start running around the subdivision where I live. It makes me feel good about myself.

Healthy and Yummy!

So, lately, I've been keeping up with my diet and excercise and yes, slowly.. I am losing some pounds and toning some body parts. It's a tough and long journey before I can really claim that I'm back in shape. But definitely, I can feel that I am getting there.
Just the other day, I decided to try one food that I have doubts about: Granola Bars. I had no idea if it tastes good or what. Good thing, I saw this brand: Nature Valley. They have Oats and Honey Flavored Bars, Peanut Butter and my favorite, Cinnamon. Please check their site from the link on the caption to see more details about this healthy food.
